Fuck almighty…. Fried Cheese……. C’mon!!!!! What’s not to like about deep fried cheese? It was the day after attending my first Irish wedding and of course I was feeling a little bleary. From all that running around, being the official photographers, after party funny hotel shenanigans and a great craic.  Olleh, H and I hauled our arses off to the freshly rained on streets of Kilkenny to meet Tony, Colin and Enda for brunch.

Deep fried Brie Wedges (€8.95) coated in a super fine bread crumb not GF but at least I got to substitute the apple compote and brown bread with a garden salad and relish. I find a devilish delight when you break open the golden crust and it flows out like lava over your delicate salad.

GF Double chocolate Brownie (€2.75) a generous slab of sweetness and chocolaty goodness.

Large latte (€2.90)….was at a good temperature and strong taste which I really needed that day. I looked the barista dead straight in the eye and said: “Hey….that is a good coffee. It’s not too hot or yucky. Thank YOU!!” There was coffee machine steam and blushing.
